The following Informational Event Log messages can be raised by the BizTalk Message Archiving Pipeline Component in the Windows Application Event Log:


Licence Key Validation

1. Beta Release - Informational Message (Event Log Category Id: 1010)

Message text: This is a beta-release version of the BizTalk Message Archiving Component; please send details of any bugs to [E-MAIL ADDRESS]. This beta version expires on [DATE/TIME].

This message is raised when running beta-release software that is time-limited. This informational message will be displayed every time a message passes through the archiving component and indicates when the beta licence expires.


2. Beta Licence Expired - Informational Message (Event Log Category Id: 1020)

Message text: This beta-release version of the BizTalk Message Archiving Component has expired and will no longer function correctly. Please un-install from your system.

This message is raised when running beta-release software that has expired. This informational message will be displayed every time a message passes through the archiving component when the beta-licence has expired. No messages will be archived after the expiry date.


3. Developer Licence - Informational Message (Event Log Category Id: 1030)

Message text: This is a development version of the Atomic-Scope BizTalk Message Archiving Component. To purchase a licence for a production system, please e-mail [E-MAIL ADDRESS].

This message is raised when running the component with a developers licence (the default licence); this informational message will be displayed every time a message passes through the archiving component. This message is not written to the Event Log when running with an Enterprise Licence on production systems. To purchase a production licence, visit NEED-TO-CHANGE.
